CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin Stack

Also known as: CJC-1295 and ipamorelin blend (a retail blend name)

A retail blend of two growth hormone-releasing peptides, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin, each studied separately. The combination itself has not been studied in published human trials.

Overview

"CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin" is a marketing name for a product that combines CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin. The two act on growth hormone release through different pathways: CJC-1295 mimics growth hormone-releasing hormone, and ipamorelin acts on the ghrelin receptor. The name is not used in the scientific literature.

What the research has looked at

Each component has been studied separately, mostly through measurements of growth hormone and IGF-1 rather than health outcomes. Physiology research has described that pairing a growth hormone-releasing hormone analog with a ghrelin-receptor compound can release more growth hormone than either alone. That idea has not been shown for this blend, and it has not been shown to produce health benefits.

What we do not know

  • We found no published studies that tested these two together, so claims about combined effects are not supported by evidence.
  • Raising hormone levels is not the same as proven benefit, and no large trials have tested clinical outcomes.
  • Long-term effects of repeated growth hormone stimulation are not established.
  • Blends vary in ratio and quality between sellers.

Regulatory context

Neither component is an approved medicine, and growth hormone-releasing compounds are prohibited in sport.
